Maybe the kids were playing too rough or a popcorn kernel cracked a tooth. Whatever the cause, experiencing a dental emergency on a weekend or during a holiday can be especially stressful
What do you do when the dentist offices are normally closed? Here at Norge Dental Center, we offer Emergency Dentistry services because we believe you shouldn't have to wait when the unexpected occurs. Here’s what to do if you have a dental emergency after hours -
If You’ve Lost A Tooth
Don’t touch the root. Place the tooth back into the socket and call your emergency dentist right away. You can also place the tooth in a container of milk or water. Apply ice to your face if needed. The most important thing is to stay calm and know that your dentist can help fix it.
If You’ve Broken A Tooth
You’re wondering if it can be made whole again, and we want to see that happen! We’ll use a digital x-ray to determine if the tooth can be bonded. If extraction is needed, a dental implant is the most natural looking option to blend with the rest of your teeth.
If You Need Oral Surgery
While we always aim to perform the least invasive treatment option, sometimes surgery is required. Whether you’re oral health requires dental implants, TMJ treatment, or tooth removal - we’re on a mission to restore your smile.
We have a team of dentists on-call during AND after hours prepared to handle any tooth-related emergency. Whether you’re new to Norge Dental Center or a current patient, we can help after you’ve experienced an accident or injury.
