I want every visit to feel personal, never rushed, and always focused on your long-term well-being."
General & Restorative Dentist at Norge Dental Center
Dr. Anwar didn’t grow up dreaming of dentistry. In fact, she comes from a community where dental visits only happened when something hurt. But everything changed during college, when she began volunteering at mobile clinics across the U.S. and abroad. There, she saw firsthand how dentistry could restore dignity, relieve pain, and change lives—especially for vulnerable communities. It was in those makeshift clinics that she found her calling.
As the first dentist in her family, Dr. Anwar brings humility, empathy, and a deep sense of purpose to her work. Her patients often say they feel truly heard, and they are. She prides herself not only on clinical excellence, but on being an empathetic listener who puts her patients' needs and values first. Whether it’s a complex restoration or a routine check-in, Dr. Anwar strives to build relationships rooted in trust and care.
A lifelong learner, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training right after dental school. Yoga has been a guiding force in her life for nearly a decade, helping her stay grounded, self-reflective, and present in every patient interaction.
When she’s not at the office, you’ll find her cooking bold, spicy Asian dishes, hiking with her husky, or planning her next travel adventure. Her favorite movie? Forrest Gump—a reminder that life’s path is full of surprises, and meaning is often found in unexpected places.
