Dr. Timothy Johnston, Dr. Ray Henley, Dr. Stacey Hall and Dr. Steve Stensland are all graduates of the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry.

Timothy K. Johnston DDS, FAGD

In 1989 Dr. Tim Johnston graduated from MCV School of Dentistry and founded Norge Dental Center. He continues to teach part-time at the college and has won numerous awards as a valued faculty member. Dr. Johnston was selected part-time Faculty of the Year by the graduating classes of 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006. When he's not teaching or practicing, Dr. Johnston, his wife Kelly and their 3 children are proud members of the Williamsburg community and enjoy taking part in all that this beautiful city has to offer.

Dr. Johnston holds a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a graduate of the prominent Misch Implant Institute, regarded as one of the premier teaching facilities in implant dentistry.

In 2000 Dr. Johnston was inducted as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious award representing a serious commitment to Continuing Dental Education and a well-rounded practice.

In May 2001 Dr. Johnston was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, recognizing contributions and achievements in advancing the art, science and literature of dentistry.

Dr. Johnston also speaks on practice management, writes articles on clinical techniques and practice management, and has been published internationally.

C. Ray Henley Jr. DDS, FAGD

"The new millennium brought changes, challenges and opportunities in both my personal and professional life," 

After graduation in 1989 from the MCV School of Dentistry, Dr. Henley was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army, where he was accepted into their Advanced General Dentistry Residency. After nearly 6 years, he left the Army to open a private practice in Yorktown.

During the next five years, he served at the Virginia Beach Public Health Dental Clinic, and as an Adjunct Professor for Old Dominion University School of Dental Hygiene and Assisting.

In 2009 Dr. Henley was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry demonstrating his commitment to the art and science of clinical dentistry.

Dr. Henley joined the talented team at Norge Dental Center in 2000. Supported by his wife Judy and their two sons, he pursues his two loves, dentistry and music. Having played the drums since childhood, he is now the drummer and singer for "Flat Elvis", a local band comprised mostly of dentists.
